More than anything, she's scared to lose again or, surprise, surprise, that she'll somehow ruin this like she manages to do with everything else remotely good in her life. All of this, with him? It's all still pretty unbelievable to her right now, but that's not completely out of the ordinary with her. She questions and uses caution towards anything that doesn't make her miserable. She's happy, but she finds it hard to openly express that or give into the feeling, out of fear it'll just be ripped away the moment she does.

Her train of thought is distracted by the eerily quick service and she shoots the waitress an unintentional inconvenient glance before retracting her hand and staring at her plates. Despite her lack of an appetite, she picks up her fork and digs into the eggs first.
"Maybe I'll stop by sometime," She's referring to their previous conversation, about him being at the club tonight. "See your club for myself. Officially." Because Lord know she's at least seen it from the outside.
That look she gives him has him immediately looking down and starting in on his meal, not sure if he made things better or worse. He doesn't regret saying it though, it was well overdue.
"I was thinking of making tonight ladies' night..." Luke hides a smile behind another bite.
